About

My work is like a weird dream; zany, uncomfortably vulnerable, and kind of embarrassing. As a dancer, I’ve always been innately in tune to my body which has majorly impacted my psyche. Viscerally vivid, my dreams are at the root of my ideas. I enjoy approaching mature themes in a juvenile way — to take the edge off. As a synesthete, I places equal importance upon the use of puns as I do color. Through the use of high drama, bold color palettes, & the grotesque, my madcap realities feel rich & tangible. I grew up surrounded by gross kitschy media, and I’m reviving it to immerse audiences into my handcrafted dreamscapes.

Set to graduate this May 2026 with a BFA in Illustration and a Dance Minor from Northern Illinois University. In the visual arts I’ve studied 2D practices such as painting, drawing, printmaking, animation, and illustration; as well as 3D practices like ceramics and z-brush (3D modeling).

In the performing arts, I began my journey in Springfield, Illinois training for the dance competition stage. During this time I became certified to teach Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Acro through the Southern Association of Dance Masters. At university, I’ve continued to refine my technical and choreographic skills.

During my summers I’ve trained at both Danceworks Chicago and Hubbard Street Dance for their Summer Intensives.

For my future, I hope to continue pursuing both my illustrative and kinesthetic artistry.
